Tyrone travelled to Curry GAA club Sligo for round 4 of the Gaelic Masters championship and came away with a resounding victory on a scoreline of 3-15 to 0-3.

Michael Anderson pointed early and this was followed soon after by a converted penalty from Martin Grimes after the Kildress man himself had been fouled in the box. Grimes managed t dust himself down to finish expertly to the net to give Tyrone the perfect start.

The Red Hands added points from Marty Mc Grath Grath and Anderson before Clare got their only score of the half from a free. Damien Kelly hit 1-1 shortly after and points from D Coyle and 2 from Anderson (1 a free) left the half time score 2-7 to 0-1 and saw Tyrone in a very strong position.

Tyrone started the second half strongly and produced an excellent team score finished off by Liam Patterson following the move all the way from his corner back position. E Mc Fadden pointed to stretch the lead and this score was followed by a 2nd Clare point.

Points from Anderson Karol mc Quade and C Nicholas put Tyrone further ahead before Clare scored their third and final point.Ryan Mc Callion pointed and Conor Gormley finished the scoring with the last 1-2 after being moved to full forward.

Tyrone travelled with a panel of 25 and all got good game time in preparation for Donegal at home in round 5.
