Masters Defeat Donegal

Tyrone Masters hosted Donegal in Killyclogher in their 3rd game of the season. Both teams came into this game with 2 wins each and so a close encounter was anticipated.
Tyrone opened the scoring with a free from the boot of Conrad Quinn followed by a goal from D Patton.Further points from M Gallagher P Clarke and D Quinn left Tyrone in a strong position.
Donegal finally settled and opened their account with a point from from their full forward Ward. Their prospects were further boosted when Tyrone were caught out in defence and Donegal got in for an easy goal. At the short whistle Tyrone led by 4 points.
The 2nd half started well for the Red Hands and they increased their lead with further points from C Quinn and P Clarke and L Patterson.As the changes were introduced during the 2nd half there were scoring contributions from R Mc Callion M Donnelly and a goal from B Mc Laughlin.
Donegal managed to reduce the deficit with two late goals but the red hands were worthy winners and look forward to playing All Ireland Champions Dublin in their next encounter.
