This weekend’s league activity got under way on Thursday night when Omagh Saint Endas 3rds entertained Donaghmore 3rds. There was little between the sides throughout though Omagh did lead at the break 0-5 to 0-3. Ryan Mc Garvey top scored for the hosts with 0-3 while Cain Bradley, Conor Mc Guigan, Joe Miller and Dillon Chism each scored 0-2. Donaghmore pushed their opponents all the way but came up short losing out 0-13 to 2-6. Aodhan Molloy and Sean Mc Caul both found the net for the Village lads while Joe Kelly and Ryan Mullan were among the points.

Clogher and Drumragh served up a real cracker of a contest before the home side came through to win 6-17 to 3-19. Ciaran Bogue top scored with 4-4 with the other Clogher goals coming from Michael Mc Caughey and Barry Mc Kenna. After being six points behind early in the first half Clogher led at the break 4-9 to 2-6 and despite a fine display from Drumragh the home side ran out convincing winners. Niall Mc Carney top scored for the Sarsfields with 1-6 wile their other goals came from Brendan Quinn (1-2) and Daniel O’Neill (1-1). Once again Eoin Montgomery was among the points for his team scoring 0-7.

Tattyreagh made the long run to Brocagh and maintained their winning run after a mature display against the Emmetts. We often say goals win games and the Tatts three majors in the first half had a serious impact on the outcome of the game. Leading 3-4 to 0-5 at the break Tattyreagh controlled the second half before running out 4-12 to 0-11 winners. Eoin Mc Grath top scored with 1-3 while the other goals came from Ger Mc Elholm, Stevie Gervin and Ronan Collins. As usual Peadar Mullan and Keelan Mc Donagh were among the points. On a disappointing night for Brocagh Cathal Donnelly top scored with 0-5 while Mickey Hughes, Owen Canavan and Stephen Canavan were also among the points.

Derrytresk continued on their winning ways with a convincing 3-12 to 1-8 win over CNG. The home side led0-6 to 0-5 at the break but second half goals from Liam Slater (1-6) and Pat Campbell (2-0) sealed the win.. Odhran Hughes showed his increasing importance to the team with another three points. CNG will be disappointed with the second half with their scores coming from Robbie Conway (3), Shea Browne (2) and Gavin Tummon were among the points while Marc Henry contributed a late goal for the Clan.

Castlederg hosted Eskra and are still pointless after two games with the Emmetts winning this one comfortably. Cormac Hughes top scored with 3-4 of the Emmetts’ total while Joe Mc Carroll, Finn Kelly, Conor O’Hagan and Johnny Hackett were among the points. On a disappointing night for the home side Adam Traynor, Blane Lynch, Ben Harper and Daire Corry were on target for the Derg.

Brackaville had two points to spare over Errigal Ciaran 0-18 to 2-10 in a game that the Dunmoyle lads looked well placed to take something from right up to the end. Dale Mc Sorley top scored for the Roes with 0-5 while Ronan Mc Hugh, Shea Fee, Jason O’Neill and Ciaran Girvan were all among the points and their strong finish saw them hold out for a two point win. Among the scorers for Errigal were Darren Carson, Caolan Tierney, Ryan Lynch and Davy Harte with points and a goal apiece from Christopher Kelly and Kevin Hughes.

Killyman made the long run to Urney on Friday night in confident mood following their win last day out. However they found the border men in unforgiving mood as they lost out 2-16 to 1-5 having trailed at the break 0-9 to 1-2. Eamon Donnelly (1-2), Enda Mc Gahan (2) and Ryan Mc Kenna (1) did the scoring for the visitors. Urney will be delighted with another win with Conor Mc Daid (1-6) leading the line while Ryan Henry (1-2), Keith Nelis (0-3) and Luke Kelly were all on target.
