The Friday night ACL Division 3 saw wins for Clogher, Tattyreagh, Brackaville, Cookstown and Strabane while the Drumragh and Glenelly contest finished a draw.

Cookstown Fr Rocks recorded another high scoring win, this time against Augher. The game ended with Cookstown winning 5-22 to 1-9. The half time score read 2-13 to 0-5 in favour of the Fr Rocks as they continued to rack up some high scoring performances. Michael Connolly led the line with 1-4 while others to hit the net included Michael Oscar Devlin (1-3), Conal Sheehy (1-2), Barry Potter (1-2) and Matthew Carberry (1-2). Among the points for the winners were Peter Mc Gurk (0-3) and Karol Mc Guigan (0-2). Augher found their opponents too hot to handle in attack and very hard to break down in attack. Darragh Kavanagh hit 0-4 for the South Tyrone side while Ronan Mc Elroy (2), Raymond Mc Elroy and Charlie Cawley got points. Their goal came was a converted penalty from Eoghan Keenan.

Tattyreagh travelled down to Urney on Friday night and with their forwards in fine shooting form came away with a hard fought but well deserved 1-17 to 2-8 win having led at the break 1-9 to 0-5. Conor Mc Daid once more top scored for the home side with 1-5 while Kyle Henry also found the net. Their remaining points came from Anthony Crossan and Jake Lafferty. Eoin Mc Grath was scorer in chief for the visitors while Johnny Harkin (0-6), Gareth Mimnagh (1-0), Joe Cartin (0-2), Ronan Collins and Aidy Martin were also on target.

Once again Glenelly produced a high scoring display hitting seventeen points against Drumragh but ended up sharing the points on a 0-17 to 3-8 final score. Garret O’Neill led the line for Glenelly with 0-5 with Lorcan Mc Cullagh also firing over 0-5. Also among the points were Eamon Mc Connell (2), Cormac Mc Bride (2), Ronan O’Kane (2) and Rory Kennedy (1). Meanwhile Ronan Maguire (1-0) Malachy Mc Manus (1-0), Niall Mc Carney (1-4) found the net for Drumragh while Daniel O’Neill (3), and Conor Gormley (1) accounted for the remaining points.

Clogher continue to lead at the top of the table but they were pushed all the way on Friday night by neighbours Eskra before emerging 3-16 to 3-10 winners in a six goal thriller. Cormac Hughes hit three of Eskra’s points while their goals came from Johnny Hackett, Cathal Arkinson (1-1) and Tiernan Mc Caffrey (1-1). Also among the points on the night for Eskra were Conor O’Hagan (3) and Thomas Meegan. Eskra led at the break 3-7 to 1-7 but only managed three second half points which went a long way to securing victory for Clogher. Clogher trailed by six at the break but were much improved after the break. Goals from Cionor Shiels  and Vincent Lowry came at just the right time to secure the win. Among the points for Clogher were Fergal Mc Kenna, Jamie Callaghan, Conor Shiels, Mark Mc Connell, Ryan Mc Caughey and Mark Bogue. The `Eire Ogs remain top of  the table and even at this early stage it looks like only Cookstown who are capable of catching them.

Strabane enjoyed a comfortable win over neighbours Castlederg who are still searching for their first win of the season. Sigersons bossed this one from the off and ran out comfortable 1–23 to 1-10 winners. Conal Crawford was scorer in chief for Sigersons while Oran Mc Grath (5), Oisin Mc Gillion (4), Ruairi Gormley (3), Kyle Morrison (2) and Eoin Haire (2) were among the points. It was another frustrating night for the Derg who trailed heavily at the break 1-10 to 0-2. They did improve after the break with scores from Blane Lynch, Ben Harper, Adam Traynor, Johnny Doherty, Fintan Gallagher and Niall Gallen.

CNG led with an early goal from Kevin Moran against Brackaville but by half time the Roes were three in front leading 0-12 to 1-6. They ran out convincing 1-18 to 1-12 winners in the end. CNG scorers on the night were Aaron Devine 0-2, Ciaran Kerlin 0-2, Niall O’Doherty 0-2, Gareth Mc Dermott 0-2, Robbie Conway 0-2 and Ciaran Kerlin 0-1. Those on target for Brackaville were Shea Fee 1-6, Ronan Mc Hugh 0-5  Jason O’Neill  0-2 and Dale Mc Sorley  0-5.

There were three other games scheduled for Saturday but only two of them were played. Brocagh and Derrytresk defeated Errigal 3rds and Donaghmore 3rds respectively while the game between Omagh 3rds and Killyman did not take place.

Derrytresk hit the net inside twenty seconds in their game and never looked back. By half time the Hill led 4-13 to 0-2 before running out comfortable 4-24 to 1-4 winners. Derrytresk scorers were Eoin Mc Nally 2-4, Niall Gavin 1-5, Pat Campbell 1-3, Liam Slater 0-5, Cathal O’Neill 0-3, Kieron McGee 0-2 and a point apiece from San Slater and Gareth Devlin. That win maintains Derrytresk’s fine run this year as they sit unbeaten at the top of Division 3B.

Brocagh  accounted for Errigal 3rds on a score of 1-24 to 2-6. Barry Donnelly led the scoring with 0-6 while Mickey Hughes hit 0-5. Others to get among the scores for the Emmetts were Paddy Canavan 0-3, Oisin Robinson 0-3,  Michael Robinson 1-0, Cathal Donnelly 0-2, Justin Campbell 0-2 and a point apiece from Stephen Canavan, James Mc Kiver and Aidan Dorman.
