Augher and Glenelly served up a high scoring and very entertaining contest which was eventually won by the north Tyrone side. There was little between the sides during the first half but two goals helped Glenelly to a one point half time lead 2-6 to 0-11. Harley Patton top scored with 2-3 while Eoin Maguire (1-1) also found the net. Augher’s top scorers on the night were Pascal Gormley (9) and  Finbarr Mc Elroy (4).

Castlederg continued their good run of form with victory over Donaghmore 3rds but they were made battle the whole way against a determined Donaghmore side. Caelif Mc Menamin and Daire Corry hit the net for the Derg while Corin Mc Connell, Pat Lynch and Eoghan Bradley was also on target with points for a much improved Castlederg side. Caolan Mulgrew top scored with 0-8 while Blayne Mc Cluskey registered a brace.

Errigal 3rds saw off the challenge of Cookstown 3rds on a scoreline of 1-19 to 1-9 with Aidan Mc Elhatton (1-2) and Ryan Owens among the scores for the Fr Rocks. Senan Canavan top scored for Errigal with o-9 while others to get among the points were Kevin Hughes 1-0, Aaron Neill 0-2 and Shane Donaghey 0-2.

Once again goals made the difference as Derrytresk came from six points down during the second half to see off the challenge of a determined Eskra side who led at the break 0-10 to 1-6. Eoin Mc Elroy led the scoring for Eskra with 0-10 while Cathal Arkinson (0-4) also chipped in with a few points. The Hill goals came from Liam Slater, PJ Quinn and Rony O’Neill while Niall Gavin and Odhran Hughes shared ten points among them.  Final score on the night Eskra 0-17 Derrytresk 3-13.

Urney hosted Tattyreagh on Friday night but found the Tattts a bridge too far as the red and blacks went home with the points winning 2-10 to 1-11; Jamie Mc Aleer hit 1-1 while top scorer Conor Mc Daid landed five points. The home side was indebted to goalkeeper Keith Nelis who pulled off five great stops to keep his team in the contest. The home side led by one at the break and looked set for the two points before the Tatts created a couple of half chances to take the win and the points.  The all important goals came from Steve Irwin and Gareth Mimnagh.

The game between CNG and Brackaville was another high scoring and entertaining contest between two sides with aspirations to push for promotion. The half time whistle saw Brackaville lead 3-8 to 1-7 at the break, with Marc Henry and Dan Houston on target. Brackaville remained on top and more than matched their opponents throughout with James Gillis and Dale Mc Sorley carrying the fight and emerging deserved winners.
