Glenelly bounced back from their midweek defeat against Aghaloo to see off the challenge of Errigal Thirds. Things looked to be going well for the north Tyrone side as they established a very convincing half time lead of 1-14 to 0-4.  Unfortunately for them they must have lost all sense of direction after the break as they only added one further point to their total while Errigal finished with 1-8. Glenelly scorers on the night were Ronan O Kane (1-3), Lorcan Mc Cullagh (0-3), Aodhan Mc Connell (0-3), Cormac Mc Bride (0-2), Nathan Mc Laughlin (0-2), Cormac Mc Connell (0-1) and the customary point from goalkeeper Conor Mc Aneney. Errigal battled manfully in the second half with their scores on the night from Davy Harte (0-4), Darren Carson (0-1), Connor Mc Aleer (1-0) and Colm Mellon (0-3). .
