Eskra made it two wins from two starts when they travelled to Derrytresk and came away with the points following an impressive 4-7 to 0-10 win over the home side. Eskra led 2-2 to 0-4 at the break signalling their intent with some fine defensive play. On target for the Emmetts were Cathal Meegan 1-2, Cormac Arkinson 2-0, Joe Mc Carroll 0-2, Cathal Arkinson 1-0, Micky Woods 0-2 and Conor O’Hagan 0-1. Odhran Hughes (0-3) top scored for Derrytresk with Niall Gavin (2), Eoin Mc Nally (2), Conor Fitzgerald and Caolan Corr all on target.

Killeeshil claimed derby bragging rights with a dominant display and win over Errigal Thirds finishing up 3-15 to 0-7 winners. Tomas Hoy followed up on last week’s display with 0-5 while Mark Monaghan (1-1), Eoin Neill (1-1) and Paul O’Neill weighed in with goals. Others to hit the target for the hoops were Cathal Rafferty 0-2, Micheal O’Neill 0-2, Mattie Mc Cusker 0-2 and a point apiece from Conall Monaghan and Ronan O’Neill. On a disappointing day for Errigal Colm Mellon (4) top scored while Shane Donaghy, Darren Carson and Ruairi O’Sullivan each landed a point.

Brackaville and Clan na nGael locked horns on Friday night with little between them throughout but the home supporters were grateful to Gary Ferguson whose late point tied the game at 1-11 apiece. CNG led by one point at the break 1-7 to 1-6 but  a draw was probably a fair result in the final outcome. Rian Mc Hugh (1-1) got a goal for the home side after fifteen seconds while Ronan Mc Hugh (3), Jason O’Neill, Gary Ferguson (0-4), Dale Mc Sorley and Shea Fee were on target for the Roes. David Conway hit CNG’s goal five minutes before the break with Shea Browne (4), Terence Mc Caughey (3), Aaron Devine and Conor Mc Aleer getting the scores that gave their side s share of the spoils.

Drumquin made it two wins from two starts when they got the better of neighbours and rivals Castlederg on a 1-12 to 0-8 scoreline. Finnen Patterson top scored for the Tones with 0-6 while Oisin Mc Menamin (1-2), Sean Mc Donagh (0-2), and Ronan Strain rounded off the Drumquin scoring. Adam Traynor led the line for the Derg with 0-3, all frees, Daire Corry hit 0-2 and there was a point apiece for Paddy Lynch, Mark Corry and Thomas Mc Menamin.

Donaghmore recorded their first win of the season defeating Killyman 2-9 to 1-8 in a close and competitive encounter. A much improved Killyman side were well in the contestfor long periods and will take a bit of confidence from this showing. Caomhan Mc Gahan hit their goal while Enda Mc Gahan (3), Cathal Mc Gahan (2), Gary Hamill (2) and Ryan Mc Kenna added points. Donaghmore scores on the night came from Sean Mc Caul (4), Dan Baird (1-0), Joe Kelly (2), Pat Mc Ateer (1-2) and PG O’Neill.

Augher had a goal to spare over Tattyreagh in their league clash with the all important score coming from Gregory Mc Caughey with seven minutes remaining. Augher led by three at the break 0-7 to 0-4 and in spite of the best efforts of the. Tatts they held out for the win 1-11 to 0-11. Darragh Kavanagh (6), Eoghan Keenan, Finbarr Mc Elroy (3) and Tiernan Mc Elroy  completed the scoring for the winners. This was a much improved display from Tattyreagh but better finishing is required before they start turning chances into points. Keeley Mc Donagh (4), Jarlath Mc Donagh (2) and `Johnny Harkin (2) were among the points for the Tats.

Two games and two wins for Sigersons following their 3-10 to 1-11 victory over Brocagh.  Oisin Mc Gillion (1-1), Haydn Mc Namee (1-1) and Oran Mc Grath (0-4) top scored for Strabane while Kyle Devine (1-0), Ronan Mc Laughlin (2), Kelvin Nelson (0-1) and Gary Quigg (0-1) were also on target. Mickey Hughes top scored for Brocagh with 0-5 while Aaron Convery (1-0), Ciaran Campbell (0-2), Oisin Robinson (0-2), Cathal Donnelly and James Mc Kiver were also on target for the Emmetts.
