Drumquin maintained their good start to the season with a 1-10 to 0-6 win over Tattyreagh. However this time around they were pushed all the way by an improving Tatts side. With four wins from four starts the Tones join Eskra at the top of the table. Sean Mc Donagh top scored with 1-4 while Ronan Strain, Finnen Patterson and Oisin Gormley each hit a brace of points for the Tones and Caolan Gormley also added a point. On a disappointing night for the Tatts Peadar Mullan  hit 0-2 with a point apiece from Keely Mc Donagh, Aidan Martin, Ronan Collins and Jarlath Mc Donagh. Further bad news for the Tatts came in the shape of a bad ankle injury for Callum Leonard.

Castlederg were nine point winners over Brocagh after the Emmetts made the long journey to north Tyrone on Friday night. Daire Corry led the way in scoring for the Derg with 0-7 while Matthew Mc Menamin (1-1) and Cian Harper both found the net for the home team. There was a brace of points each from Mark Corry and Tommy Mc Menamin while Paddy Lynch and Paddy Porter rounded off the scoring for the Derg. Ciaran Campbell (1-0) and James Mc Kiver (1-2) bagged the goals for the Emmetts while Aaron Convery, Pearse Mc Aliskey and Michael Robinson completed the scoring.

Strabane travelled east on Friday night for their game with Brackaville with both sides settling for a point apiece after a 0-8 to 0-8 draw. Oran Mc Grath hit 0-4 for the Sigersons who will feel they had the winning of the game leading 0-8 to 0-6 before points from Ronan Mc Hugh (3) and Dale Mc Sorley (4) tied the game at eight points apiece. Haydn Mc Namee (2), Ruairi White and Stefan Conway completed the scoring for Strabane.

The east Tyrone derby between  Derrytresk and Killyman turned out to be a comfortable victory for the Hill Men who recorded a 4-14 to 1-2 win. Odhran Hughes led the scoring for Derrytresk with 1-4 while Cathal O’Neill (1-3) was up there too. Conor Fitzgerald (1-0) and Keenan Donaghy also hit the net for their side while they had points from Ultan Mc Kee (2), Eoin Mc Nally (2), Caolan Corr(1), Eoin Rea (1) and Diarmuid Mc Kee (1). On a night to forget for Killyman their scores came from Caomhan Mc Gahan 1-0, Niall Mc Alinden 0-1, Enda Mc Gahan 0-1.

Killeeshil got the show back on the road on Friday night when they travelled to CNG and came away with a two point 0-12 to 1-7 win. The sides were level at the break CNG 1-2 Killeeshil 0-5.

Davey Conway opened the scoring with a right foot effort but Killeeshil quickly responded. A Brendan Conway free left it 2-1 to CNG quickly before two points in a row for the visitors put them 3-2 up but a well taken goal by Marc Henry put the clanns 1-2 to 3 up after 15mins of play. The visitors drew back level before half time to make it 1-2 to 5 points at the interval.

Killeeshil scored 2 points in succession after half time to put them 2 up but the clanns hit a purple patch scoring 3 points on the trot, 2 from Davey Conway off his left foot and a long range free from Brendan Conway. Killeshil soon drew back level but Davey Conway then scored another point (outside of his right) to put the clanns back ahead with the score at 1-6 to 8 points.

Sadly for the home side this was as good as it go them for the Clanns as the visitors tapped over 4 unanswered points which won them the game. Jonny Knox did score a late consolation point but the game finished,….

CNG 1-7 Killeeshil 0-12

CNG scorers: Davey Conway 0-4, Marc Henry 1-0, Brendan Conway 0-2, Jonny Knox 0-1

Killeeshil scorers: Tomas Hoy 0-6, Michael O’Neill 0-2, Conall Monaghan 0-2, Mark Monaghan 0-1, Cormac Donaghy 0-1.
