There was little between the teams as Derrytresk hosted Augher in the final league fixture of the season. In what was a relatively low scoring game the away side emerged two point winners on a scoreline of 1-9 to 1-7. Odhran Hughes hit all the Derrytresk scores with five of his points coming from frees. Augher led 1-4 to 0-4 at the break with their goal coming from Darragh Kavanagh who finished the game with 1-6 to his name. Points from Tiernan Mc Elroy (2) and Ronan Mc Elroy completed the scoring for the winners.

It was a facile 3-13 to 0-5 victory for Glenelly over north Tyrone rivals Castlederg in the final league outing of the season. The visitors had this one well and truly tied up from early on as they reached the short whistle leading 2-5 to 0-3. There was to be no respite for Castlederg as their opponents kept the foot on the pedal right up to the end. Lorcan Mc Cullagh and Garrett O’Neill both hit 1-2 for their team while the other goal came from full forward Ronan O’Kane (1-1). Nathan Mc Laughlin (4), Cathal O’Neill, Cormac Mc Bride, Cormac Mc Connell and Cathal Nicholas were all among the points for Glenelly.

Tattyreagh brought their season to a winning close over Urney on Sunday on a final score of 2-11 to 0-7. Tattyreagh never looked troubled in this one having led at the break 2-5 to 0-3. Eoin Gormley and Mickey Allen got their team’s first half goals while Eoin Mc Ginn, Cathal Darcy, Johnny Harkin and Keelan Mc Donagh were among the points. Keith Nelis and Danny Doherty both hit three points each for Urney while their scoring was completed by a point from Liam Langan.

Brackaville and Killyman served up a high scoring and entertaining game that saw Killyman come back from being 0-8 to 0-3 behind at the break to win 5-5 to 1-12. Surely the match of the day and certainly the comeback of the season!!!!! For Killyman Cathal Mc Gahan hit 2-0 with Gary Hamill (1-2), Shea Gates (1-0), Sean Donnelly (1-0) all among the goals. Eamon Donnelly, Enda Mc Gahan and Ronan Mc Veigh chipped in with a point apiece for the winners.Brackaville must be wondering how things changed so badly in the second half especially after bagging a goal early in the second half. Gary Ferguson, Ronan Mc Hugh, Shea Fee, Oisin Brady, Rian Mc Hugh, Dale Mc Sorley and Daire Carberry were on target with points for the Roes.
