Tyrone will play Derry for the second time in seven days in the final of the Barrett Lighting Mc Kenna Cup this Saturday night in Armagh with a 7:00pm start. Mickey Harte’s side were far from convincing tonight and lost young starlets Ronan Mc Nabb and Ciaran Girvan to injury early in the first half. Both players are unlikely to be fit in time for the weekend and the manager’s problems are compounded further with the unavailability of Kevin Hughes and Mark Donnelly. Fortunately Enda Mc Ginley will be available for selection and with Stevie O’Neill showing fine form in the latter part of the Cavan game Tyrone will be hoping for revenge following last Sunday’s league defeat. However Mickey Harte would probably have preferred different opposition but will relish the chance of the extra game and the chance of some early season silverware.
