McCusker Leads The Way

There are only two players participating in the senior championship final this weekend who are among the leading scorers but the race to be top marksman is cut and dried. Dromore’s Eoin McCusker is ten points clear of his nearest rival and a further three clear of Clonoe midfielder Stephen McNulty who is the only player who can catch him. That won’t happen though and Eoin is set to win the award for the second time. His first win came in 2008 but on that day it was Stephen who pocketed a coveted championship medal and it remains to be seen if history will repeat itself.
