The race to be crowned Begleys Sports Intermediate league top scorer is really beginning to hot up with one third of the campaign gone. Gareth Devlin didn’t play for Stewartstown last weekend and that has seen him drop from being leader to outside the top four. Gortin’s Diarmaid McNulty is the new leader and the first player to break the thirty points barrier after his 1-4 helped beat Rock last weekend. Johnny Lafferty is hot on his heels following his hat trick of goals against Brackaville and he is followed by John McLaughlin and Mickey Murphy.
