Mickey Harte And Gavin Devlin Head To Louth
Tuesday 24.11.2020
Former Tyrone manager Mickey Harte and his assistant manager Gavin Devlin have certainly not allowed the grass to grow under their feet following the end of their tenure in Tyrone. The three time All Ireland winner has agreed to become the new manager of Leinster side Louth with Devlin once again operating as his assistant. They duo will oversee the fortunes of both the senior county team and the under twenties.
Louth are currently plying their trade in Division Four and many Tyrone supporters are sure to be keeping an eye on how things go for the “Wee County” in the league particularly in their clash with Antrim. The Saffrons announced Errigal Ciaran man Enda Mc Ginley as their new manager last week and the league fixture between the two teams is sure to arouse a lot of interest.
Meanwhile for Tyrone it is all systems go as the five person committee appointed to oversee the selection of a new senior football manager for the county continues its search. Nominations from the clubs for the positions were requested to be with the County Secretary by five o clock on Monday. It is hoped that a new manager will be in place before the start of next week.
