Minor Camogie Side Win In Convoy

Tyrone’s minor Camogie side travelled to Convoy on Sunday afternoon to take on Donegal in the Electric Ireland Minor C Shield.
The Red Hands opted to play wind assisted in the first half and after a controlled display they led comfortably at the break. Among the first half point scorers were Rhiannon Mc Loughlin, Sienna Gildernew, Grainne Devlin and Kate Daly while Mc Loughlin, Devlin and Daly were also on target with goals.
The second half saw a huge improvement in the Donegal performance with Clodagh Mc Kinney, Sarah Jane Harnett, Emma Johnston and Grace Mc Gonigle leading the charge.
Fortunately for Tyrone Emma Conroy, Niamh Clarke, Emma Holmes and Orlaith Mc Elduff remained resolute in defence and kept the Donegal threat to a minimum.
