Tyrone Minor Camogs are through to the Grade C All Ireland Final after a very impressive victory over Wicklow on Saturday afternoon in Inniskeen County Monaghan. They will now look forward to locking horns with Kerry in the final on April 27th with the venue yet to be decided.

A determined first half saw the Tyrone girls reach the break six points clear 0-7 to 0-1 while a similar showing after the break restricted Wicklow to a single score in the second half.

A fine penalty save early in the second half by Eimear Colton played no small part in ensuring the Wicklow threat was kept to a minimum.

Tyrone worked hard to add to their first half total with Kaitlin Gallagher (4) and Lára Devlin (4) finishing the game as joint top scorers. Reagan Fay’s goal late in the second half sealed the win and made sure there would be no unnecessary nerves in the closing minutes of the game. Others to star for the team were Megan Clarke, Sinead Mc Geary and Aisling Begley.
