Minor Ladies Name Captain

Ahead of their Ulster minor campaign the Tyrone minor management team headed by Darren Mc Cann has confirmed Moy’s Emma Conroy as team captain for 2023. She takes the role on the back of plenty of experience having skippered the county’s under 16s in 2021 and playing a key role for Moy in the All County League.
On Friday Conroy picked up an Ulster PPS all star award playing with St Catherine’s College Armagh but it’s within the county that has seen her make genuinely rapid progress. Emma has become an established player for both club and county for several years now and is very much one to watch for the future.
Emma’s vice captain for the year is Moortown’s Caoileann Quinn. The teenager from the Loughshore club recently helped St Mary’s Magherafelt to an Ulster Schools Under 20 B title and was perhaps unfortunate not pick up a schools all star herself.
