Naomh Mhuire came from four points down with less than twelve minutes remaining to defeat Killyclogher by three on a score line of 2-12 to 3-6. Home advantage certainly helped as did the display of county minor Darren Mc Curry who was in superb form for his side. The winners led at the break 0-8 to 1-3 but Killyclogher showed great heart and no shortage of skill to edge ahead after the break with goals from Paddy Fox and Conall Mc Cann. Indeed the visitors could have been further ahead but for a missed penalty. Ryan Bradley, Mark Bradley and Ruairi Murray all performed well for Killyclogher but on the day Naomh Mhuire were deserving winners.

Pomeroy defeated Omagh 3-18 to 1-8 in a game that saw five players sent off with Ciaran Mc Laughlin getting Omagh’s goal. The winners had led by a point at the break 0-6 to 0-5 but had moved 1-8 to 0-5 ahead early in the second half. Omagh managed to close the gap to one point at one stage but the Plunketts took control thereafter and won comfortably in the end.
