Three semi finals in the grade one and two minor leagues took place on Tuesday evening. Having already made it through to the championship decider Ardboe kept their double hopes alive with a 1-12 to 0-9 win over Coalisland at Stewartstown. It was a game that the Rossas controlled from start to finish with Conal Lyons the best player for the Fianna on the night. Ardboe will meet Stewartstown in the decider. In grade two the decider will be between Fintona and Aghaloo after they accounted for Galbally and Trillick respectively.

Fintona won the battle of the Pearses at Dunmoyle in a cracking encounter, 1-13 to 1-11 the final scoreline. Galbally led 0-8 to 0-5 at halftime with Conor Kelly [2], Seamus Mulgrew [2], Enda McGarrity [2], Christopher Morris and Patrick Quinn their scorers, Tommy McGrath [2], Edin Conlon, Maurice McCloughan and Ryan Donnelly the Fintona marksmen. Fintona hit back to draw level thanks to points from Conor McGoldrick, Conlon and McGrath but after Morris and McGrath had traded points Kelly struck for a Galbally goal. Minutes later though Fintona were back on level terms after McGrath converted a penalty when he was fouled himself and after Ronan Nugent and McGarrity had traded points with Conlon and McGrath late efforts from McGrath and half back Mark McGlynn won the day for Fintona.

They will meet Aghaloo in the final after the O’Neills overcame Trillick 3-16 to 3-7. Tiarnan Donnelly and Ruairi McGlone featured prominently among the scorers for the winners with Daire Gallagher 1-5, Ryan Gray 1-0, Neil Gray 1-0 and Stephen O’Donnell 0-2 the St.Macartans marksmen. Trillick badly missed the services of injured County minor attacker Lee Brennan on a night when they had good performances from Johnny, Keelan and Eoin Kelly.
