County champions Ardboe edged out Stewartstown in a cracking encounter, 3-9 to 1-14 the final scoreline. David Mulgrew [1-1], Barry Devlin [3], Michael Lynn [1-0], Oisin Devlin [1-0], Caolan Mallaghan, Ryan Sheehy, Michael O’Neill, Nathan Bell and Oliver Mallaghan were the scorers for the Rossas on a night when they had good displays from Eddie Sheehy, Kevin Coney, Oliver Mallaghan, Lynn, Mulgrew, Barry Devlin, Aidan O’Neill and Oisin Devlin. Dan Lowe [1-2], Macaulay Quinn [4], Callan Burke [2], Shea O’Neill [2], Connor Quinn, Paddy Bleeks, Shea Devlin and John Lee were the scorers for the Harps with Lowe, Connor Quinn and Dylan McElhatton all playing well for them.
Fintona played host to neighbours Dromore and it ended up a draw, 2-12 to 3-9. The St.Dympnas led 3-4 to 1-4 at the break but they required an injury time free from forty metres out from Declan McNulty to salvage a share off the spoils. Peter Teague scored two first half goals for Dromore with Pearse Muldoon hitting 1-1, Callum Ward, Aidan McGrath and Declan McNulty their other scorers. In the second half McNulty landed four points including that late equaliser with Ciaran McCormack also on target. Sonnie McDonagh and Conor McGoldrick got the Pearses’ goals with Tomas McGrath and Ryan Donnelly featuring among the points.
Trillick maintained their unbeaten run when they accounted for Greencastle 2-16 to 2-7. Lee Brennan led the way in the scoring stakes for the St.Macartans with 1-5 to his name, Peter Gallagher got their other goal and Daire Gallagher [4], Neal Gray, Ryan Gray [2], Stephen O’Donnell, Conor Smith and Jonathan Kelly all had points. Pomeroy defeated Coalisland 2-15 to 2-10 with Cormac O’Hagan [4], Cathaoir Quinn [4], Sean Corr [1-0], Gerard Quinn [1-0], Gerard Woods and Michael McKernan the Fianna scorers on a night when they had good displays from Conal Lyons and McKernan.
Aghaloo defeated Moy by the minimum margin; 2-5 to 1-9 the final score line. Jimmy Cuddy hit 1-1 for the winners, Ruairi McGlone and Gary O’Gorman had three points each with Owen Ward and Niall McElroy also on target. Declan Conroy got both goals for Moy with Ryan Coleman [3], Francie Kelly and Rory Magee their point scorers. Sean Hanna, Chris O’Neill and Tom Loughran all played well for Moy. Moortown edged out Cookstown 2-8 to 2-7. Conan McLernon and Eoin Kelly got the goals for the St.Malachys with Tiernan Corr, Conor O’Hagan and Conor McLernon playing well for them. Newtownstewart defeated Galbally with Tiernan McNamee top scoring for the St.Eugenes with an impressive 1-7 to his name with Niall Mayse [1-1], Conor Traynor [1-1] and Aidan McSorley their other marksmen on the night. Ronan Nugent got 1-2 for the Pearses with Christopher Morris, Patrick Quinn and Seamus Mulgrew all scoring points.
