Round five of the minor league took place on Tuesday evening with action in all three grades. Clonoe took on defending champions Stewartstown and the O’Rahillys edged the verdict on a 2-9 to 1-9 score line. Ciaran McNulty [2-1], Ryan Morrow [5] and Fintan McClure [2] were among the scorers for the winners on a night when they were eleven in front with a quarter of an hour to go before their opponents fought back. Eunan Corr, Mickey O’Neill and Rhys Quinn all played well in defence as did Paul O’Neill in midfield and Ciaran McNulty and Ryan Morrow up front. Macaulay Quinn [1-2], Shay Burke [2] Callan Burke [1], Tiarnan Rush [1], Darren Devlin [1], Shay O’Neill [1] and Oisin Coyle [1] were the Harps scorers with Jason Park, Mark O’Neill, Devlin, Quinn, O’Neill and Shay Burke all playing well for them.

Dungannon were emphatic 3-15 to 0-6 winners over Kildress with Corrin Kelly and Darragh Rafferty among the goals for the Clarkes on a night when they had strong performances from Dailigh Jones, Brian McNulty and Peter Coleman. Ruairi Loughran [3], Shane McNally [1], Jamie Jackson [1] and Stephen Loughran [1] were the Wolfe Tones scorers. Moy produced a great display to beat Cookstown 2-17 to 0-11. Rory Magee and Francie Kelly got their goals with Ryan Coleman, Kelly, Declan Conroy, Philip Mallon, Magee, Patrick Lavery, Patrick Mackle, Chris O’Neill and Jack Campbell all supplying points with Shay Armstrong, Turlough Kelly, Oisin McKeown and Lorcan O’Hanlon playing well.

Eglish had a good win against Donaghmore with Joseph McVeigh, Kevin Muldoon and Joseph McConnell their best players on the day. Caolan Mulgrew [1-2], Tiernan Drayne [4], Aidan Quinn [1-0], Brannon Molloy [1], Matty McIlvenna [1] and Blayne McCluskey were the Donaghmore scorers on the night. Galbally had to work hard to record a narrow 0-10 to 0-8 win away to Cappagh. Liam Rafferty, Enda McGarrity, Patrick Quinn, John Hanna, Ryan Bradley, PT Cunningham and Nathan Donnelly were among the points for their respective sides and with the teams level and time running out late scores from Colin Campbell and Mark Quinn won the day for the visitors.

Tattyreagh had a good 3-17 to 3-6 win over Derrylaughan. James Darcy [1-2], Jarlath McDonagh [1-2], Joe Cartin [1-3], TJ Richards [1], Peadar Mullan [1], Eoghan Murray [1], Niall McDonagh [1] and Brian Callaghan were among the scorers for the winners on a night when Mullan and McDonagh were their best players. Tomas Carney [4], James Donnelly [1], Paul Donnelly [1-1], Caolan Corr [1-0] and Caolan Gordon [1-0] were the Kevin Barrys scorers on the night. Newtownstewart came from six points down at the break to record a good 2-13 to 2-9 victory over Dromore with Aidan McSorley [1-2], David Patton [4], Conor Traynor [1-1], Shane Ashenhurst [3], Michael Coreless [1], Tiarnan McNamee [1] and Gary Duffy [1] their scorers and Ashenhurst, Patton, McSorley, Gavin Traynor and Pearce McNamee all playing well for the St.Eugenes. Cahir Goodwin, Odhran Rafferty, Andrew McGrath and Ryan McCusker were best for the St.Dympnas.

County champions Ardboe defeated neighbours Moortown 0-12 to 0-10 away from home on a night when the St.Malachys were best served by Rian McLernon, Eoin Quinn, James Devlin and Jack McGuigan. Fintona had a comprehensive win over Omagh B with Rhys Partington [4-2], Danny Keenan [2-1] and J Deasley [1-1] leading the way in the scoring stakes and Maurice McCloughan, Mark McGlinn, I Clark, Eoin Gartley and Marius Monaghan all registering as well. Owen Roes came from fifteen points down at one stage away to Gael Naomh Padraig to win by the minimum margin with Ryan McAleer [2], Ryan Porter and Timothy O’Doherty [2] all scoring a glut of late goals. Carrickmore produced one of the results of the night when they won 2-22 to 1-7 away to Errigal Ciaran with Aiden Fullerton getting both of their goals. Packie O’Neill [1-1], Pauric McAnenly [3], Niall McGirr [1], Cathal Corrigan [1] and Jody Farrell [1] were the scorers for the home side.

Malachy Conlon, Lorcan Devlin and Lorcan Conlon were the Edendork goal scorers with Conor Hughes also playing well but they lost 3-11 to 3-9 to Aghaloo. Marty Corrigan kicked five points, Padraig Ward got four, Shea Litter bagged a goal and Sean Moran and Ronan McLernon were also on target but Rock were beaten by Killeeshil.
