The inclement weather conditions meant that the club minor league programme was decimated this week with only a few fixtures going ahead. Galbally made it two wins out of two when they edged past Errigal Ciaran at Dunmoyle. Mark Quinn and Mark Donnelly got the Pearses goals as it finished 2-6 to 1-7, Niall Molloy among the scorers for the hosts. Carrickmore also picked up their second win in as many outings when they turned on the style in the second half to comfortably win away to Newtownstewart. Michael Corless scored a first half goal for the St.Eugenes as Carrickmore led 0-5 to 0-1 at the break. All the home side could muster in the second half was a Patrick Hargan point as the visitors assumed control. Ciaran Cuddy finished with 1-3 to his name with Ciaran Daly and Aidan Fullerton landing five points each as it finished 1-15 to 1-1.
Kildress were emphatic winners on their trip to Eglish. Caolan Mullin, Corey Holland and Conor Quinn all scored two goals each for the Wolfe Tones on a night when Shane McNally was outstanding in defence for them. In the same section Pomeroy proved too strong for Gael Naomh Padraig. At the third time of asking Beragh picked up their first point of the campaign when they drew 0-10 to 1-7 at home to Strabane. Derrytresk defeated Rock at home with Padraig Ward, Ronan McKernan and Ian Finnegan getting the St.Patricks’ goals and Cormac O’Neill and Conor Barrow playing well for them. Trillick made it four wins out of four after beating Drumquin 1-17 to 2-3 away from home while Drumragh made it a maximum return of points from three outings when hitting nine goals away to Urney.
