The latest round of minor league fixtures were down for decision this week but there were a number of games that didn’t take place for one reason or another with a number of sides forfeiting points. Goals won the day for Ardboe as they defeated Clonoe 3-9 to 0-15 in a hard fought encounter. Michael Lynn [2] and Mattie Laverty got the Rossas goals with with Barry Devlin [3], David Mulgrew [2], Nathan Bell, Michael O’Neill, Peter O’Neill and Eddie Sheehy getting their points on a night when they were best served by Shane Graham, Paddy Sheehy, Ciaran Canavan, Eoin Quinn, Michael Lynn, Mattie Laverty, Nathan Bell, Ryan Sheehy and Oisin Devlin
Castlederg beat Drumragh 3-14 to 3-10 with Jack Ramsay, Marc Cardenas, Mickey Lynch, Tommy McMenamin, Paddy Porter, Kosta Svanias and Caolan Harvey all playing well for the St.Eugenes. Stewartstown and Kildress shared the spoils after a 1-7 to 0-10 draw with Cathal Devlin getting 1-1 for the Harps, Sean Rushe hitting a couple of points and Conor Quinn and James Campbell both playing well. Moortown beat Naomh Padraig 2-15 to 0-10 with keeper Justin Conlon, midfielder Conor O’Hagan and forwards Peter Maguire and Michael Paul McCann all playing well for the winners.
