Round three of the minor club leagues took place on Friday night and there were some interesting results across the board. Donaghmore played host to Ardboe at Father Devlin Park and it finished level on a 2-7 to 0-13 score line. Donaghmore led 2-3 to 0-5 at halftime with Matthew Mulgrew and Peter McKenna getting their goals and Richard Kelly [2] and Aidan McCloskey getting their points. Ardboe hit back in the second half though with full forward Michael Cassidy taking his personal haul to seven points. Ciaran O’Neill [2], Conan Campbell [2], Ryan Mulgrew and Owen Quinn all scored for the Rossas with Philip Donnelly earning Donaghmore a share off the spoils with a late equaliser.

Killeeshil took on Brackaville with the Owen Roes winning 3-10 to 2-7. Best for the St.Marys were Sean McKenna, Declan Sherry and Ciaran O’Neill. Urney produced a superb performance to record a comfortable 4-14 to 1-8 victory over Aghyaran. Ronan Catterson scored 1-3 for the St.Davogs with Cathal Browne and Darragh Travers playing well for them too. Stewartstown won by three points with Ryan Devlin, Cathal Devlin, Dan Lowe, Frank Lowe and Sean Rush among their scorers.

Pomeroy’s good start to the campaign continued when they beat Cookstown 4-10 to 0-8. Frank Burns top scored for the Plunketts with 1-2, Sean Quinn got four points with Patrick Cunningham, Eddie Corcoran and Mickey Mills all finding the net as well while John Loughran [2], Gavin Goodfellow and Kieran McGeary all landed points. Best for the winners were Brendan Burns, Colm McGlone and Frank Burns. Strabane took on Dromore and the Sigersons recorded a fine 2-12 to 2-10 win. Ethan O’Kane top scored for the winners with 2-3 to his name while there were also scoring contributions from Ryan Carlin [2], Dylan Arnold [2], Martin Mongan [2], Ryan McElroy, Aodhan Devine and Luke McGeehan. There were good displays from Tyrone minor Ben McGillian and his brother Liam, Martin Mongan and Paddy Roarty at midfield and O’Kane and Arnold up front.

Moy took on Tattyreagh and the Sky Blues came out on top in a high scoring encounter. Michael Cartmill and Jack McDonald both scored four goals each, Stefan Lavery got 1-2, Declan Conroy grabbed 1-1 with Niall McConville [2], Jack Donaghy and Mark McConville all getting scores as well. Best for Moy on the night were Donaghy, Jack Kelly, Cartmill and Conroy. Naomh Padraig won 1-10 to 1-7. Caolan Corr was man of the match, Mickey Carlin scored their goal with Conan Dorman, Donal Robinson, Paudie Bell and Sean McFall all hitting points.  Eglish played Clonoe and they won 2-9 to 1-5 in a game that saw the O’Rahillys have three players sent off in the final ten minutes. Best for the St.Patricks were Alfie Quinn and Jude Barrett.

On Sunday afternoon Naomh Mhuire got the better of neighbours Dungannon 1-15 to 2-6. Conor Mallon and Darren McCurry got the bulk of the winners scores between them with C Little and D Maneely playing well for them too. Colm Corrigan and P McGahan got the Clarkes goals with Jack Hughes and Sean Molloy playing well for them.
