Eglish made the trip to play Ardboe and they came away with a good 3-10 to 2-9 victory. Ryan Sheeky and Conan Campbell got the goals for the Rossas with John McAuley and Peter O’Neill playing well in defence with Michael Cassidy contributing a few points from midfield. Conor McKenna had a great game for the winners hitting 2-2. Dungannon defeated Cookstown 2-11 to 2-7 with the Clarkes having good displays from M Walsh, J Hughes and B Cassidy. Clonoe travelled to Plunkett Park and came away with a narrow 2-9 to 1-10 victory. Best for Pomeroy were Brendan Burns and Patrick Cunningham with J Quinn getting their goal and Kieran McGeary, Burns, John Loughran, Cunningham and Sean Quinn all featuring among the points.

Owen Roes defeat Gortin 6-16 to 1-10 in a superb all round team performance with Cathal and Ryan McShane getting most of the winners’ scores between them. Moy were in fine goal scoring form against Killeeshil with Niall McConville scoring a hat trick and Declan Conroy grabbing a brace. Tattyreagh had two points to spare against Aghaloo with Tiarnan Muldoon and Tiarnan Donnelly playing well for Aghaloo. Errigal Ciaran took on Strabane and they had five points to spare in a high scoring encounter, 0-19 to 2-9 the final score line. Mark Kavanagh top scored for the winners with four points with Sean McKenna and Fergal Kelly getting three each with Michael McCann, Tommy Traynor, Declan Quinn and Niall Quinn all getting a brace with Pascal Donnelly on target as well.

Rock recorded another good win with Aidan McGarrity top scoring with 2-6 to his name with Diarmuid Carroll 1-1, A McVeigh 0-3, K Moran and Mark McAleer also on target. Enda Mallon played well in goals for Rock with other good performances coming from N McWilliams, P McCreesh, R Litter, P O’Neill, K Mallon, McGarrity, McVeigh and McAleer.

Trillick took on Urney and the St.Macartans triumphed on a 2-10 to 1-6 score line. Diarmuid McCaughey was solid in goals, Jamie Kelly and Bruce Worley defended well, Ryan Kelly and Ryan Gray [1-3] were good in midfield while up front Tiernan Allen [1-2], Matt Conlin and Eoin Reid all played well.

Cappagh travelled to Dromore to play their re-arranged game tonight (Thursday) and lost out by three points on a 0-13 to 0-10 scoreline. Fergal O’Neill struck over a couple of nice scores for Saint Dympna’s while Matty Mc Caffrey and Jack Poyntz turned in good displays for their side. Mark Bradley top scored for his side with six points and Conall Mc Cann got three however it was a night when Killyclogher’s defence battled gamely but the key battles around midfield were lost.
