Minors Suffer Heavy League Defeat

Tyrone minor footballer lost out to neighbours Donegal in the third round of the Ulster minor league in Strabane on Friday night. The Red Hands were 0-9 to 0-3 down at the break. The first half scores for Tyrone came from Fintan McClure, Daniel Kerr and Emmett McNabb while Ethan O’Donnell, Nathan Gavin, Neil O’Donnell and Kane Barratt were amongst the point scorers for the visitors.
Things didn’t get much better for Tyrone after the break. Daniel Kerr did open the second half scoring before Donegal hit the Tyrone net through Mark Coyle. Fintan McClure and Patrick Molloy swapped points with Mark Coyle and Caolan McDaid. Donegal wrestled control of the scoring away from Tyrone after that and ran out convincing 1-16 to 0-7 winners.
