Tyrone ladies made the trip to Sligo on Sunday to face the team that ran them close in the All Ireland Intermediate semi final back in late 2017. With Gemma Begley in fine shooting form they came away with a comfortable win as the Carrickmore sharp shooter bagged 3-02 while Grainne Rafferty (1-3) and Emma Jane Gervin (1-2) also found the net.

The senior hurlers are still without a win following their narrow defeat at the hands of Louth in Division 3A of the Allianz League. They ran into a highly motivated “Wee County” side that had Clare man Niall Arthur making his debut. And what a debut it was as Arthur hit 2-9 to help Louth to a four point win over Tyrone for whom ace marksman Damien Casey scored thirteen of his team’s twenty points.
