Full time in Moortown and a much better second half performance from Ardboe helps them to a 0-10 to 1-4 win over Moortown. Just a single goal for Moortown in a disappointing 30 minutes of football from them.
Ardboe stretch clear of Moortown again with ten minutes to go. Ardboe miss a penalty which looks like it would have seen them over the line. Moortown 1-4 Ardboe 0-9
42 minutes gone and the sides are now level. Moortown 1-4 Ardboe 0-7
Ardboe start the second half with a much more purposeful look and they are now 0-6 to 0-4 ahead of their hosts after eight minutes of the second half.
Moortown take a 0-4 to 0-3 lead into the break in the Tyrone All County League Division 1 clash with near neighbours Ardboe. Very, very quiet affair for the big crowd gathered to witness the game. So far so good then for the St Malachy’s men.
This if the first time that Moortown and Ardboe have met each other in the top flight of the league for quite a number of years.
