Mossey Tops Intermediate Scoring Charts

Gortin’s Kevin Mossey has finished top scorer in the Intermediate league with an impressive combined tally of 87 points to his name. He went into the final round of league fixtures just a point ahead of Jamie Donnelly but the Augher clubman finished in fourth place! Urney’s Johnny Lafferty produced the individual performance of the season when hitting a wonderful 3-9 against Stewartstown on Saturday and that lifted him up to second spot. County minor Darren McCurry helped Edendork to the league title and he finished in third place ahead of Donnelly, Enda Ward, Paul Rafferty, Gareth McDermott and Gareth Devlin. Conor McCreesh and Mickey Donnelly were the only two players in the top ten who didn’t break the seventy point barrier, the latter breaking into the top ten on the last day replacing Edendork’s Niall Morgan.
