Moy made sure of their place in the Connollys Of Moy Intermediate championship quarter finals when they eased past Aghyaran at Loughmacrory on Sunday afternoon to set up a meeting in the next round with Rock.
The winners werre out of the traps quickly with points from Paatrick McGeary, Michael Conroy, Jamie Coleman and Liam McGeary but they were hauled back in again when Benny Gallen converted a 16th minute pernalty. GO Power man of the match Michael Conroy then tagged on another trio of points with Ryan Coleman and Declan Conroy also on target but a Gallen free from outside the arc closed the gap to 0-10 to 1-3 at the break.
Conroy and Gallen traded points on the restart before Moy assumed control. Coleman, Michael Conroy and Liam McGeary all raised white flags while substitute Matthew Laverty raised an orange one to open up a gap. The St.Davogs had no answer on day when they managed just a single point from play as Moy closed out the game with a well worked palmed goal from Conroy to finish the contest with 1-8 to his name.
