Moy ensured their place on the roll of honour for 2010 when a superb display saw them get the better of an Aghyaran side who were chasing the grade three minor double. Matthew Dynes scored all three of Moy’s goals with the first coming after only five minutes but the St.Davogs replied with a major of their own from Roger Leonard to take the lead. Moy then had Mark Gribben sent off but a second Dynes goal saw them lead 2-3 to 1-3 at the short whistle. Dynes completed his hat trick only two minutes into the second half and while Aghyaran responded with points from Paddy Devenney and Liam Lynch it was the sky blues who had their tails up. All Ireland minor winner Eunan Deeney weighed in with an impressive eight points for Moy as they ran out emphatic winners against an Aghyaran side who also finished a man short after Lynch was dismissed.
