Moy are through to the Intermediate championship final after a comprehensive victory over Gortin at Carrickmore on Sunday afternoon. It was a game that the sky blues were always in control off and in the end they were worthy 3-9 to 0-5 winners.
Harry Loughran sent them on their way with a well taken goal before a Eunan Deeney side line kick sailed all the way to the net to enable the winners to lead 2-3 to 0-1 at the break. Ruairi Keenan, Ciaran Brolly and Peter Keenan were among the points for Gortin with Sean Cavanagh getting three for Moy as well as setting up a second goal for Loughran. Deeney top scored for the winners with 1-4 to his name. Gortin finished the game with thirteen men after having Peter Clarke sent off in the first half for a second yellow and substitute Kevin McCullagh in the second period for a straight red.
