Moy Overcome Trillick to Make Last Four

Moy are through to the semi final of the Hunky Dorys Tyrone Senior Football Championship following a three point win over Trillick in Pomeroy this afternoon. The Tir na nÓg’s got off to the perfect start and were 1-3 to 0-1 up inside the first fifteen minutes. Paul Rouse with the punched goal after a high ball into the box. Ryan Mellon and Colm Cavanagh dominated the midfield sector in the opening thirty minutes. Sean Cavanagh finished the game with 0-5 (four frees) while Rouse kicked 1-2 over the hour. Trillick struggled to get to grips with the game and only scored three points from play. Daire Gallagher who came on as a substitute kicked five points (four frees) for Trillick but the game was dominated by the 55 minute delay due to an injury to Trillick man Rory Brennan.
