Mulgrew Breaks Thirty Point Barrier

Inaugural Begleys Sports Division One top scorer winner Shane Mulgrew has become the first player in senior football this season to break the thirty points barrier but his lead has still been trimmed to two points after Augher teenager Daire Kavanagh bagged his third goal of the campaign in his side’s draw at Trillick. Richard Donnelly was also in fine scoring form in that game and his return has lifted him to third place in the charts. Leo Meenan, Jamie Donnelly and Paul Rouse are all tied with a combined total of twenty five points with the latter’s club mate Sean Cavanagh just a point further adrift.
