There was some good news on the injury front following Tyrone’s game with Monaghan on Sunday. Galbally midfielder Micky Murphy had looked to be quite badly injured as he was helped from the field with what appeared to be a damaged shoulder. However following a visit to the hospital and a close examination it was revealed that the player had not suffered any breaks or dislocations. He is hopeful to return to full training again later this week.

Murphy has already missed out on a couple of games following an infection in his ankle and will be keen to show the manager that the injury will not prevent him from participating in the National League Final. However more pressing for the Galbally ace will be the start of the All County league this weekend and his club’s opening fixture which is a derby clash with Pomeroy.
