Naomh Treasa And Brocagh Serve Up A Cracker

In spite of the poor weather conditions a sizeable crowd turned up at Garvaghy for the Under 16 Camogie Final clash between Brocagh and Naomh Treasa.
This was a superb game with goals aplenty and no shortage of goal mouth scrambles as the game ebbed ad flowed before it finished 12 – to 8-7 in favour of the Dungannon girls.
It was all out attack from both sides when in possession and superb defending when required .
The half time score saw Brocagh reach the break leading 6-4 to 5-1 as both sides created and converted some great goal chances and opportunities.
With the Anne Jordan Memorial Plate on offer to the winners the second half remained every bit as competitive as the first. Diana Cowan, Riona Deane, Niamh Howland, Katie Kelly, Ava Mc Gurk, Grace Mc Intosh, Cadhla Mc Nally, Lovedia Viera and Cara Winters were excellent throughout for Niamh Treasa while Brocagh had sitar players all over the field too including Lucy Canavan, Lily Rose Devlin, Susie Canavan, Clodagh Fee, Anna Mc Closkey, Aimee Rose ONeill and Holly Scullion.
Congratulations to both sides on their performances most especially to Player of the Match Lucy Canavan .
