National Doubles Success For Kerr And Mullan.

Sean Kerr and Pauric Mullan pulled off an unexpected triumph at the weekend when they won the inaugural 60 x 30 13 and under Nationals doubles championships held in Mullingar. Despite having little experience in this code of the sport Sean and Pauric showed that the skills they possess allow them to be competitive against bigger and stronger opponents.
In the round robin qualifying rounds they beat Clare’s Fergal Coughlan and Jack Hayes 23-18 and Meath’s Danny Farrelly and Danny Dunne 26-12 before accounting for Wexford’s Tomas Hall and Adam Hanrahan 15-8 15-6 in the final to secure their first 60 x 30 National title
