Newtownstewart are through to the next round of the grade two minor championship after beating Moy away from home on Tuesday evening. It was 0-5 each at the break before the visitors ran out 1-9 to 0-7 winners. Ciaran Duncan got the only goal of the game with Tiernan McNamee [3], Niall Mayse [2], Daryl McGuigan, Patrick Hargan, Shane Ashenhurst and Aidan McSorley the point scorers for the winners. The goal ten minutes from time proved to be the decisive score in the game. Declan Conroy [3], Sean Hanna [2], Ryan Coleman and Mark McConville were the Moy scorers with the entire back line of Patrick Mackle, Tom Loughran, Turlough Kelly, Michael Morgan, Joe McMahon and Callum Fleming all playing well.
