Niamh And Chloe Scoring For Fun

Last week’s round of fixtures in the Tyrone Ladies League saw some high scoring games with fine individual performances across all the divisions. Trillick’s Emma Brennan (4-2) and Edendork youngster Lára Devlin (4-5) both ran up impressive totals. Former county star Gemma Begley was on fire against Loughmacrory hitting 1-10 while Ciara Mc Mahon’s 3-3 for Dromore against Fintona on any other night would have been the talk of the county.
Unfortunately for all of these, as impressive as they are, they were outdone by a couple of superb displays of score taking from two of the finest forwards in the game. Sperrin Óg’s ace forward Niamh O’Neill hit 3-9 out of her team’s total of 3-10 against Aghyaran while St Macartans star Chloe Mc Caffrey was on fire at Dunmoyle bagging 4-6 against an out of sorts Errigal Ciaran.
Congrats to both girls and we look forward to seeing who has their shooting boots on this weekend and will they get close to the totals set by Niamh and Chloe.
