Omagh CBS Defeat Dean In Mc Grath Opener

Omagh CBS defeated Dean Maguirc in the Mc Grath Shield on Wednesday morning at Garvaghey 1-10 to o-5 having led 1-5 to 0-3 at the break. Lorcan Meenagh and Vincent Gormley were among the points for the Carrickmore based school who were making their first appearance at this level.
Cormac Darcy bagged the Omagh goal in the first half with Charlie Meenan, Diarmuid Martin, Peter Colton and player of the match Ryan Baxter all among the points for the winners. Omagh CBS have two wins from two outings while the Dean take on St Eunan’s Letterkenny in their final group game next week.
