Omagh CBS lose in MacRory Cup

Omagh CBS lost their opening game in this year’s MacRory Cup when Abbey CBS came out on top 1-8 to 0-6 in Armagh. The Brothers led by two at halftime but the Down lads finished strongly scoring 1-2 in the final five minutes. Best for Omagh were Brendan Donaghy in midfield and Collie McCrory and Ryan Maise up front. They play St.Pats Maghera in their second game this Saturday at the home of newly crowned Tyrone Junior championship winners Derrytresk. St.Patricks Academy Dungannon open their campaign on Tuesday afternoon when they face old rivals St.Michaels Enniskillen in Tempo with a 2.30 throw in.
