Omagh CBS 4-9 St.Pats Maghera 2-9

Omagh CBS defeated St Pats Maghera in the Danske Bank Mac Cormack Cup semi final at MUSA on Wednesday afternoon with Carrickmore player Daniel Fullerton enjoying a day to remember. The Colleges Allstar finished the game with a hugely impressive 3-4 to his name with all of his goals coming in the second half after the sides had gone in at the break on level terms.

Following a close hard fought first period during which Omagh created, but failed to take, numerous good chances, the teams went in tied Omagh 1-3, Maghera 0-6.

The second half was something of a goal fest with Fullerton and Maghera’s Cathair Higgins both finding the net for their respective teams. Maghera’s second goal drew the teams level but it was Omagh who finished strongest to make it through to the final 4-9 to 2-9.
