Omagh CBS made it two wins from two outings in the Oisin Mc Grath Shield as they saw off the challenge of St Eunan’s Letterkenny at Glenswilly on a scoreline of 6-9 to 2-6. Four Omagh goals in the first quarter took the wind from the sails of the home side and with goal keeper Turlough O’Hagan, Aidan Farley, Tom Gallen, Conor Fyffe, Tomas Mc Elholm, Conal Loughran and Daniel Mc Gurren leading the line Omagh controlled most of the possession and created the best chances.

First half goals from Shea Mc Ginn (2), Matthew Garrity and Conor Fyffe put the Omagh side in a very strong position by half time. Points from Tom Gallen and Daniel Mc Gurren helped send the Tyrone school in at the break leading 4-3 to 1-4.

Letterkenny improved considerably after the break with Cahir Daly, Cathal Docherty and Donal Mc Bride carrying the fight to their opponents. However Omagh continued to control the game and added two further goals with Cahir Cassidy and Matthew Garrity on target for goals number five and six.

Omagh added further points from Shea Mc Ginn, Dara Burns, Daniel Mc Gurren and Aodhan Corry as they maintained their good start to the Oisin Mc Grath Shield.
