Omagh CBS had five points to spare over St Colman’s Newry this morning in the group stages of the MacRory cup. Top performer this year Colm McCrory has to retire after ten minutes following what looks like a torn hamstring. He was replaced by the excellent Darren Canavan who finished the game with 0-4. There were also big performances from Chris McClean 1-2, Thomas McCarron 0-3. The other point scrorers for the Omagh men included Cormac O’Neill, Ruairi Sludden, Collie O’Neill and Ryan Mayse. Final score Omagh CBS 1-12 Abbey CBS 1-7
