Omagh CBS Win Brock Cup Derby

Omagh CBS won the Tyrone derby against St.Patricks Academy Dungannon in the Brock Cup at Galbally on Tuesday afternoon. The winners began the game well with points from Patrick O’Neill, Andrew McGrath and Gavin Slane but a Ross Lavery goal took Dungannon back into contention. Padraig McGirr, Aiden McSorley and Rion McKenna all tagged on Omagh points as they moved further in front and when McGirr palmed in a goal they looked set for a comfortable victory. The Academy rallied though with Ryan Coleman and Eoin Teague both scoring goals with the former unlucky not to get another one when his first time shot hit the post. With time running out only two separated the teams but Aiden Fullerton and Shane McGuigan had points while the latter got a goal in the last attack of the game as it finished 2-16 to 3-5.
