As expected it has been confirmed this afternoon that Tyrone’s third round All Ireland qualifier against neighbours Armagh will take place at Healy Park in Omagh this Saturday evening with a seven o’clock throw in a game that is an all ticket affair.

2005 footballer of the year Stephen O’Neill has been ruled out of the game with a recurrence of the hamstring injury that kept him out of the Longford match but on the plus side of things Kevin Hughes and Martin Swift are both expected to be available when manager Mickey Harte names his team on Thursday evening.

Ulster’s other two representatives in the qualifiers, Down and Derry, are also in action on Saturday when they form a double bill at Croke Park with the Oak Leafers taking on Kildare at four o’clock with the Mourne men facing All Ireland champions Cork at six o’clock.
