Omagh Go Top While Moortown And Dromore Ends In Stalemate
After back to back defeats Omagh returned to winning ways on Thursday night with a 0-15 to 1-8 success over Greencastle at O’Neills Healy Park for a result that took them back to the summit of the Division one table. Ronan O’Neill once again led the way in the scoring stakes for the St.Endas with five points to his name with Conor O’Donnell getting three and Damian McGuigan, Conan Grugan, Brian Og Campbell and Thomas Clarke all on target as well. The hosts led 0-7 to 0-2 at the interval and they managed to keep the visitors at arms length in the second half despite Greencastle scores from Cathair McCullagh and Mark Carson.
Moortown scored an injury time point to secure a draw at the Loughshore against County champions Dromore. The St.Malachys led 0-6 to 0-3 at the break with Peter Devlin, Ryan Kelly and Karl Hagan among their points, Declan McNulty on target for the St.Dympnas. Brian McLernon got an early second half goal for the hosts but then Dromore took over with Niall Sludden, McNulty, Aodhan O’Donnell and Odhran Rafferty all supplying points as they got their noses in front before a late Devlin equaliser.
