Tattyreagh hosted Urney on Friday night and after a close first half trailed at the break 0-7 to 1-2. The strong wind made creating chances difficult for both sides but it was the home team that made the better use of the elements on the night. The Tatts got off to the perfect start with a first minute goal from wing half Callum Leonard after Urney goalkeeper Keith Nelis was beaten by a deflected shot. Urney replied with points from Jamie Mc Aleer and Conor Redstone.  Brendan Armstrong put two between the teams before three in a row from Urney put the St Columba’s ahead again 0-5 to 1-1 with Conor Mc Daid (2) and Mc Aleer on target again. Eoin Mc Grath fired over a fine score for Tattyreagh but it was Urney who finished strongest with a brace of points from Conor McDaid to send the teams off at the break with Urney two to the good. Tattyreagh restricted Urney to just three points in the second half while hitting the net twice courtesy of Peadar Mullan and the impressive Ronan Collins.  There were points from Eoin Mc Grath, Callum Leonard, Patrick Harley, Joe Cartin and the recently returned from Australia Eoghan Murray to run out comfortable 3-12 t0 0-11 winners.Tattyreagh can now look forward to a top of the table clash with Castlederg on Monday night.

Drumragh are just beginning to find form at the right time especially Tommy Mullin who contributed 0-13 against Stewartstown on Friday night. Ronan Maguire hit 1-2 while no fewer than four players scored 0-1 apiece : Lorcan Mc Grath, Conor Gormley, Ryan Montgomery and Ryan Baxter. Drumragh led 1-8 t0 0-6 at the break and produced a strong second half display to win 1-19 to 1-11. Scorers on a disappointing night for the Harps were Rian Biggs 0-6, Padraig Doran 0-1, Conor Quinn 0-1,  Cumhai O’Neill 0-1, Shea O’Neill 1-0 and  Macauley Quinn 0-2.

While most people were taking advantage of the fine weather and heading off to Donegal Omagh 3rds and Errigal 3rds met in the league. The game turned out to be a high scoring affair before Omagh claimed the points with a 3-13 to 3-7 win having been tied at the break 1-5 apiece.

Omagh’s scorers were Ryan Mc Garvey 1-5, Michael Gallagher 1-3, Conor Pritchard 1-0 while among the points with one apiece were Eamon Mc Mahon, Daire MacSalaigh, Dillon Chism, Ben Mc Farland and Kevin McAnulla. The Errigal scorers on the night were Darragh Conroy 2-0 and Aidan Mellon.  1-0 while Senan Canavan hit 0-3. Errigal’s remaining scores came from Tom Loughran, Aaron Mc Kenna, Kevin Hughes and Aaron O’Neil.

Castlederg enjoyed a comfortable win over Donaghmore 3rds on Thursday evening 2-24 to 1-7.  Daire Corry top scored with 1-8 while Eoghan Bradley 0-6, Darren Traynor 0-3, Paddy Lynch 0-3, Oisin Lynch (1-0) were also among the scores. Blaine Lynch, Eoin Devine, Ceelaf Mc Menamin and Emmett Patton each chipped in with a point. Donaghmore’s scores on the night came from Eoghan Donnelly 1-2 and Caolan Mulgrew 0-5.

CNG faced an improving Brackaville side with the young Roes taking the points on a score of 1-17 to 0-11having got to half time trailing 0-8 to 0-5. The strong breeze certainly made life difficult for CNG in the second half but Brackaville made the best of the breeze hitting twelve second half points. CNG could only manage three points during that  period. CNG scorers on the night were Dan Houston (3), Marc Henry (0-2), Niall O’ Neill (2), Johnny Knox (3) and Aaron Devine o-1. Brackaville scorers on the night were  James Gillis 0-5, Shea Fee 0-3, Tiernan Mc Glinchey 1-0, Dale Mc Sorley 0-3, Ronan Mc Hugh 0-3 and a point each from Ryan O’Neill, Ciaran Gervin and Stiofan Gervin.

Fintona put Strabane to the sword with a commanding display that left the Sigersons wondering where their next win is going to come from. Fintona dominated from the off and led at the break 0-13 to 0-0. Peter Colton top scored for the Pearses with 0-9 while Peter Mc Glinn chipped in with 0-4. Others to get among the scores were Eugene Colton 1-1, Conor Hegarty 0-2, Diarmuid Martin 0-1 and Cathal Starrs 0-1. On a disappointing night for the Sigersons they had points from Kelvin Nelson, Conal Crawford and Ronan Mc Laughlin.

Killyman and Omagh served up a real goal fest before the St Mary’s emerged winners on a score line of 7-13 to 2-9 having led at the break 3-8 to 0-2. Killyman scorers were Eamon Donnelly 2-6, Eoghan  Mc Gahan 3-1, Sean Donnelly 1-1, Cathal Mc Gahan 1-1, Jack Quinn 0-2, Oisin Gates and Declan Mc Alinden 0-1 each. Credit to Omagh who made a real fist of the second half. Their scorers on the night were Ben Mc Farland 0-3, Eamon Mc Mahon 0-2, Sean Bresnahan 0-2, Kevin Mc Anulla 0-2 and a goal apiece from Michael Gallagher and Cahir Keys.

Eskra and Glenelly took to the field on Friday night with the North Tyrone side continuing to lead the way at the top of the table. However Eskra produced a performance of commitment and determination before emerging 0-17 to 2-7 winners. The Emmetts led at the break 0-10  to 1-3. Scorers on the night for Glenelly were Eamon Mc Connell 1-2, Thomas Coyle 1-0, Garrett O’Neill and Harley Patton 0-2 apiece and a point from Eoghan Mc Connell 0-1. Eskra scores came from Conor Hackett 0-1, Conor O’Hagon 0-4, Eoin Mc Avoy 0-5, Joe Mc Carroll 0-4 Aaron Kelly 0-1 and Finn Kelly 0-2.

Augher and Derrytresk locked horns on Friday night with the Hill Men emerging as winners on a scoreline of 1-19 t0 2-14. Augher scorers were Ronan Mc Elroy 1-0,  Cathal Mc Kenna 0-3, Raymond Mc Elroy 0-2,  Odhran Mc Ginn 0-1, Liam Mc Kenna 1-0, Pascal Gormley, 0-2, Darragh Kavanagh 0-5, and Marty Mc Elhatton. Derrytresk restricted Augher to three second  half points which had a major impact on the result. Odhran Hughes top scored for Derrytresk with 0-10 while Eoin McNally 1-1 and Niall Gavin 0-4 were also on target.
