Omagh Win Again In MacRory Cup

Omagh CBS maintained their one hundred percent record in this season’s Danske Bank MacRory when they had a hard earned 0-15 to 0-10 victory over St. Pat’s Armagh at Augher on Saturday morning.  The Brothers dominated early on and by the end of the opening quarter they had six points on the board while their opponents were yet to register, Andrew McGrath, Rion McKenna and Aidan McSorley among their points.  Armagh hit back though and only trailed by two at the break with Eglish’s Matthew McGleenan among their points.

McSorley and Johnny Harkin added to Omagh’s advantage on the restart before a couple of frees from Conor Cullen kept Armagh in touch.  Omagh though were always able to keep their noses in front thanks to points from James Darcy, McSorley, Gavin Slane and Thomas Clarke.
