Seven days ago a draw against Donaghmore was enough to see them through and this evening Omagh have a county league final to look forward to after an impressive win away to Trillick.

Ronan O’Neill hit a point in the dying seconds to seal victory in a pulsating game played in excellent conditions at Donnelly Park.

St Enda’s got off to a wonderful start with Ronan O’Neill striking 1-2 inside the opening ten minutes. They made the most of the wind advantage in the opening half to lead 1-7 to 0-3 at the break.

By the three quarter hour mark Trillick regained parity through a Niall Gormley goal and points from Matthew Donnelly and Lee Brennan. 1-7 apiece.

Conan Grugan and Lee Brennan exchanged points until Brennan hit what looked like the deciding goal eight minutes from time to leave in 2-9 to 1-10 in favour of Trillick.

Omagh weren’t to be denied though as Barry Tierney hit the Trillick net two minutes from the end of normal time to leave it level at 2-10 each. It was left to Ronan O’Neill to find the winner in injury time and put St Enda’s into the league decider. Final Score : Trillick 2-10 Omagh 2-11
