Options Increase For Tyrone

Tyrone’s options have increased since their defeat in the Ulster semi final ahead of this weekend’s All Ireland qualifier in Longford. The McMahon brothers Joe and Justin both played the full hour recently for Omagh in their win over Trillick with both featuring on the score sheet while Aidan Cassidy banged in a goal as Augher accounted for Eskra. Martin Penrose, who came on as a substitute against Donegal, was in fine form for Aghyaran as he scored half their total in their 0-14 to 0-11 victory away to Urney. Errigal Ciaran’s Enda McGinley also made a welcome return to action and was among the points as his side edged out Derrylaughan although on the negative side Stephen O’Neill is rated a major doubt with a hamstring injured which forced him off in the Ulster semi final.
